But all that changed in a sudden turn of events and a profound encounter with God when he realised that he had been taking the lives of innocent babies all these years.

Jean found out she was pregnant when she was on a sabbatical away from home. When she first found out about her pregnancy, she was overjoyed and decided to come home to raise her child with the support of her family and community.

However, when she came home, her community felt otherwise and pressured her to abort the baby. She held onto the pregnancy till 24 weeks before going for an abortion against her own better judgement.
